The thing that I love about America is how fast your life can change! You can go from being loved to hated overnight. i.e. Micheal Vick, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods, and most recently LeBron James to name a few. On the flip side of that you can also be Ted Williams. The story of this man is so compelling to me. It says that there is hope. I love this man's compassion and how he speaks so much about his redemption over the last few years. Ted Williams better known as "The Man with the Golden Voice" was homeless less than two weeks ago. HOMELESS...living in a tent in the city of Cleveland. He was known for his silky smooth voice and worked in the radio in the early 80s. A stint with drugs and alcohol shortened his career and caused the downward spiral to becoming homeless. His story is here and I will let you follow the links. My prayer for this man is for him to be a spring board for the gospel and to tell his story to millions! My prayer for him also is that he stays on this path and that God places on and when the light dims that he can be strong. That the Lord places wonderful people around him to help him stay the course. This story is powerful to me. It shows me that in this country anything is possible. I know that this is the tip of the iceberg, you don't go from being homeless to perfect. God Be with this man. With this quick fame he is going to need it!

This man has already been on Dr. Phil caught lying. Pray for him. He has the talent to get back up. I hope that he can keep folks around him that can help him and not break him. America will also chew you up and spit you out if you are not grounded.
