So far on our Istanbul Trip......

So far this trip has been great. The first three days of out trip have been covered on Liz's page. We spent pretty much all of yesterday out on the town visiting a ton of really cool places. Today I think that we are going to do the same. This is the first time that I have been on a vacation where it has not had to take place on a beach for it to be a true vacaton. Getting to see family and traveling across the world to do it has been awesome! Just wanted to also post some pics on my page of some of the sights we saw on this trip so far.

Upcoming Weekends

This weekend Liz and I are going up to spend the day with the sweetest little girl in the world! We will be heading out early Saturday morning to visit my little one. We always get so excited about getting to see her. It is so fun being around her personality and seeing how much she has grown since our last visit. It is so remarkable how bright a kid she is for being only six. Though she can get "wild" as she likes to call it, I would not rather be anywhere else in the world than spending the weekend with her and my bride.

The following weekend, Liz and I will be on a plane headed for Turkey!! We will be meeting up with my brother-in-law, Dan, his wife Tami, and my niece and nephew, Kaiyah and Zeke in Istanbul. Personally, I have never really been outside of the states before (if you don't count the Carribbeans) so it is going to be so neat to be in a different culture for a full week. It will also be neat to do it with family who have been gone for more than a year now. I am so excited to see them.
